Information reaching georgeasamani.wordpress.com/blog is UCOMS-ACCRA SRC CONNIVING WITH THE EC TO DISENFRANCHISE JANUARY /FEBRUARY STUDENTS FROM VOTING IN THE UPCOMING SRC ELECTIONS.

Below is the full press release from a concern student in the person of Wisdom Gmayan a key member of the ”CHIEF BUILDERS”.

Fellow students it is sad how some SRC executives are conniving with the electoral commission to disenfranchise over two hundred students from voting. The EC yesterday issued a notice of opening of nomination and it will close on the 6th of June, then what prevent the EC from holding the elections on the 11th or 12th June, meanwhile the EC is very much aware of the fact that this students will be going on break on the 12th of June.

Article 27(3) states that, evey student of the university shall have the right to vote in any src elections. This over two hundred(200) students have the right to vote and must take part in deciding who should lead them. The EC must come clean on this matter because if nominations close on monday what will the EC be doing till 18th or what prevent it from holding the elections early so that this students can also take part in electing their leaders.

Every student vote must count.

Fellow students lets come together to ensure the EC does what is right.
JANUARY/FEBRUARY STUDENTS MUST VOTE IN THE UPCOMING SRC ELECTIONS.

For the seek of peace and fairness the management of Ucoms must call the current SRC and the EC into order.

Another information georgeasamani.wordpress.com/blog has picked is some student are preparing to put a court injunction on the process if the SRC and the EC don’t change from their Mephistophelian behavior.
