CHECK OUT SOME OF THE COMMENTS FROM NPP ABETTORS ON KEN AGYAPONG’S COMMENT I WILL BRING DOWN NPP..

Kennedy Agyapong who appears unstoppable in his recent attacks at some members of his own party, has vowed to bring down the New Patriotic Party (NPP), before he is disgraced.

“If you are not careful with people who helped you or us to come to power and give them this reward…… there is this boy called Siriboe whose father is a council of state member. How much did his father pay? You are there undermining him….NPP boy. I mean those NPP people who have vowed to collapse my business saying they will bring me down…If they joke the things I will say In Ghana……the way we won the elections. We did not win the elections on fair grounds. I am warning them for the last time. If they say they will bring me down, I will be the first to bring the NPP down before I am disgraced”, he revealed on Oman Fm, his own radio station.

According to him, he is among those who want the betterment of the party for fear that when the NDC returns to power it will spell his doom.

“Those of us who have shown our faces and ready to die for the party, if care is not taken and the NDC returns to power we are finished”, he disclosed.

This is not the first time Mr Kennedy Agyapong is raising concerns about what the NDC might subject him to should luck smile on the party in 2020.

Last month, he revealed that jailing him is among three options the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is weighing in the event it wins back power 2020.

“My life is on the line. Why is that when Ibrahim Mahama commits a crime I should speak about it but when my own party member commits same I should be quiet”, he asked.

Commenting on recent developments in the NPP with some bigwigs scheming to bring him down with planned meetings at Alisa Hotel in Accra, he said he will not sit down while persons who did little to improve the fortunes of the party bring the current administration under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo down.

“God has blessed me and they will all be disgraced. Whatever they are doing will fall flat because I am fighting a just course. Na true I go talk”, he explained.

“I will correct all wrongs in NPP because should NDC come into power now, they will either kill me, collapse my business or find a flimsy charge against me to be jailed”, he alleged.

@Joey: I agree with your contribution 100%, especially the portion that says; ” There is no way you can bring NPP down YOU SIMPLY CANNOT DO IT “. This is fact as experience has shown over the course of the party’s political history. At this point of the NPP’s young administration vis-a-vis the current socio-economic and political status as bequeathed to us by the NDC government, we don’t need tough blanket talks like this. We need constructive cautions, persistent honest behind the scene talks, patience and efficient investigative systems to arrive at best conclusions.

Are you saying all your efforts are just to get contracts Then how different are you from the hyenas in the NDC?Please stop this You are beginning to bore some of us.Remember someone lost an eye fighting for the NPP.Pipe down .You talk far too much.

Kennedy Agyepong you are too much and the talking is too much. The bitterness in you doesn’t make you a patriotic citizen a patriotic citizen doesn’t ask for what the country can do for him,you are behaving like give and take because you helped the party you want the party to pay you back with huge contracts, you want to dictate to everyone even including the president to do what you say or you threaten with I will pull everyone down and is that how to be in a party or society? Your good works must be appreciated by all at all cost? My friend, NPP didn’t come into Ghana’s politics just yesterday? Some people sacrificed their lives and businesses because of the NPP eg B.A Mensah, Appenteng Mensah, Mr Addison, Appiah Menkah,Dr Sarfo Adu etc a whole lot of people and even the have not who were killed by ndc hoodlums all because of NPP, look at how the youth sacrificed their lives to get this party into office and you don’t think of them but your business? How old is this party in government t for you to be shuttling from asempa to your own Oman talking talking like you are the only person who sacrificed for the party? There are so many silent ones who have kept quiet for the government to be on its toes why Kennedy Agyepong, why do you think you have to bring down something you weren’t part of those who formed it? Membership of a party is by choice not force and I don’t think somebody made that choice for you so why the talking it’s too much oooo ton! Know that you can’t dictate to the party because the party is bigger than you and even not the president can do that. You are somebody I’ve vowed if even I’m dying I will never demand from you because it’s not worth it. The talking is too much, I was once your fan but not now because I can’t take the talking any more. You’ve been voted to represent your people in parliament but I don’t hear you talking there but always at asempa fm, don’t you have anywhere in parliament to express your grievance than to come on air? You are losing most of your fans to be honest with you and you making a ridicule of yourself to your enemies in both the NPP and the ndc. I don’t know if you need help because I can’t understand your actions ,you are too extreme.

Honorable Ken, some of us used to love you but we are beginning to get tired of your verbal outburst.I want to tell you here and now that it is almighty Allah who brought NPP to power not any individual. Not even the president or his vice brought the party to power but Allah. We understand that you contributed towards the victory but remember you are not the only one who sacrifice for the victory. Remember someone lost his eye through the struggle to this victory. In fact, you need to tone down because you talk too much. No individual is bigger than the NPP party and that includes you and any other person like you. Honorable Ken, I put it to you that you can never bring NPP down. Remember, the party is bigger than any individual and that includes you. You help the party to victory and so all contracts should be given to you? This is not NDC party where there is no rule and law.I am expecting the party hierarchy to call you to order because it is too much already. Try to tone down or you will face sanction as any other party member. NPP promised to improved the living standard of Ghanaians and that is what we are praying to Allah to grant the president good health and wisdom to fulfill his promise to Ghanaians. Again, you cannot bring NPP down.Anyway, you still remain my hero but truth must be told no matter how bitter it is.
Name: A concerned citizen
You have only one vote to vote and how are you just a single person going to do that? Please, i will advise you to stop that bitterness which is not good for your health. If you feel you have a genuine case go to court with your evidence or keep quiet.

I dare you Ken to bring the NPP down. I am so annoyed with your childish utterances. I am not a card bearing member of the elephant fraternity but trust you ken I will never vote NDC. There is nothing the likes of you will do change some of us.You talk too much and I believe the best party for you is the NDC.

Somebody whom Kennedy respect should call him and advise him for me.An elder of a society should behave like the “Cat and not the dog” Please Ken if you know of anything that is wrong, the way you say it and where you say it all matters. I know if you tell President Nana Addo about anything wrong and it is ceditle he will take action. True is some of us are getting disappointed. Please do not get me wrong Ken, I don’t support corruption in any way and form a bit but the way and where you talk about it matters. We beg you be decorum in what and how you say things. You have told the whole world that your party did not win the election and this is very serious so ken a beg you

Honourable Ken I really appreciate all the effort you have made in the past for your party. I really think you need to tone down a bit on the way you talk on radio and tv.The people of Ghana will never forgive you if somehow you help the NDC to make a comeback in 2020. It is unthinkable that these people should come back .If you have grievances I’m sure there are sane ,reasonable people in the party who would listen to you.The strident constant talk on radio is not helpful at all. I totally disagree that the NPP did not win the last election. Ghanaians must be really s-t-upid to have gone and voted for John Mahama. They are the ones who were not allowed to cheat.I think you talk too much and you seem to be constantly on short fuse The NDC will take advantage of that and trust me this bit about NPP not winning the election will be their mantra for the next weeks on every radio station. If you in any way help the NDC come back trust me the NDC will not be your only enemies.

Don’t vote for stingy George Andah – DCE

The District Chief Executive(DCE) for Awutu Senya West constituency in the central region has urged  electorate of the area not to vote for the NPP’s candidate because he is ‘close-fisted’.

Sampson Abbey Armah said he has observed that George Andah hardly donates money whenever he is invited to programmes in the constituency.

“I think you should stop inviting him to events because he will waste your time, he will not support you financially.” Mr. Abbey Armah said in Fante while addressing party supporters at Awutu Adawukwa.

Mr. Abbey Armah said that, for this reason, the electorate should vote massively to retain Hannah-Tetteh and President John Dramani Mahama.

Our mother Hannah Tetteh understands politics very well and knows that when she is invited to a programme, she has to support with money. She knows the canopies and chairs are rented and need to be paid for so she helps you do that so let us show appreciation to her by voting for her, he added.

Mr. Abbey Armah promised the electorate in the area that a bus will be provided for them to travel to Accra for the swearing in of President John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2017, if he is retained.

Meanwhile, the constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party believes the NDC’s candidate is not being generous but engaging in vote-buying.

Stephen Quaye in an interview with Adom News’ Seth Kofi Adjei condemned the comments by the DCE and urged the voters to vote for George Andah as he is more focused on development and not vote-buying.

He urged the voters in the constituency to vote against NDC on the basis of the current economic condition in the country.

“Will the donations create employment for the youth? Will it fix the collapsed NHIS? Will it be enough for payment of school fees?”, the Chairman quizzed in Twi.

Meet the NPP candidate who campaigns with ‘Chorkor Tundra’

112255150296_1097306357593-620x330

Candidates of various political parties are adopting a variety of strategies in this year’s general election with some using expensive Toyota Land Cruisers and unlimited cash to woo voters ahead of the December 7 polls.

But the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma South in the Greater Accra Region, Lawyer Jerry Ahmed Shaib has opted for a unique approach to his campaign, keep it simple and down to earth.

Jerry is using for his campaign; a relic mommy truck that represented public transport in the 1970’s popularly known as the ‘boneshaker,’ which he christened ‘Chorkor Tundra.’

crmyiofvaaq_myb

The residents of Chorkor and Mamprobi still relish the use of the vehicle for their business and social events.

This has made Jerry the darling boy of the electorate and he is said to be attracting votes with his ‘Chorkor Tundra’ in Chorkor and other Ga communities in the constituency.

The residents say they are happy to have a ‘home boy’ who respects and keeps the tradition of the people alive.

However, Jerry is facing the Mayor of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Alfred Oko Vanderpuije of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ablekuma South seat.

The Major is said to be financially endowed and so money may not be a problem for him in oiling his campaign machinery towards the December polls.

The group educated residents of the constituency on the position of NPP flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the party’s parliamentary candidate on the ballot paper.

Over 2,000 NPP paraphernalia comprising party T-shirts and scarves were distributed to increase the party’s visibility in the Constituency.

Executive Director of the group, Fatimatu Abubakar, said the party will leave no stone unturned to get NPP into power.

“We want Ghanaians to know that the safest person to ensure job security and prosperity in Ghana is Akufo-Addo. He is incorruptible and has a high sense of integrity compared to his opponents,” she said.

Angels Will Come Down To Vote For Akufo-Addo Even If Ghanaians Don’t – Rev. Owusu Bempah

Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has said that if Ghanaians fail to vote for NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, angels will come down to vote for him.

According to the founder and head pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International church, he is so sure that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will win the 2016 General Elections.

Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, infamous for his wild prophecies and practices, has called on people to BURN DOWN HIS CHURCH if the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Nana Addo does not emerge victorious after the December 7 contest.

The prophet was speaking on the Accra-based radio station, Okay FM, when he made his wild claims. He alleged that angels would come down from heaven to vote for Akufo-Addo if Ghanaians decide not to. According to him there is no condition with this prophecy like it was four years ago.

“I say this year is for no other Presidential candidate other than Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], no matter what happens,” he emphasized.

Akufo-Addo replicates 2015 Farmer’s Day message with inconsistencies

The 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his appreciation to farmers and fisherfolk across the country for their hard work with a similar message from 2015 but with inconsistencies.

The 2016 statement which is no different from that of last year stated that budgetary allocation to the agric sector has been reducing consistently – from 4% in 2009 to 1.1%, as contained in the 2016 budget.

But a quick check in the 2015 statement by the NPP indicated that budgetary allocation to the agric sector had reduced consistently – from 3% in 2009 to 1.1%, as contained in the 2016 budget.

Another inconsistency from the two statements reveals that the NPP stated in 2015 that the growth rate in the agric sector, which stood at 7.4% at the end of 2008, was now a dismal 0.04% but in the 2016 statement, the NPP states that the growth rate in the sector, which stood at 7.4% in 2008, the last year of the NPP administration, was only a dismal 2.4% in 2015.

Below is NPP’s 2016 statement to farmers

On the occasion of the 2016 Farmers’ Day celebrations, I join all Ghanaians in expressing our sincere appreciation to our farmers and fisherfolk for their hard work and commitment to the cause of building Mother Ghana over the years.

The role of agriculture in transforming any economy and nation is vital. If we are to make any meaningful change in the lives of the people, our efforts must be directed at this sector.

The majority of people can only feel a change in their lives when we develop agriculture rapidly.

However, the agriculture sector has been largely neglected under the NDC government over the last 8 years. Budgetary allocation to the sector has been reducing consistently – from 4% in 2009 to 1.1%, as contained in the 2016 budget.
It, therefore, comes as no surprise that growth rate in the sector, which stood at 7.4% in 2008, the last year of the NPP administration, was only a dismal 2.4% in 2015.

With modernisation and diversification of agriculture being a key component of the NPP’s 4-Point Agenda for the development of Ghana, I wish to assure our farmers and fisherfolk that the blessing of oil will not distract an Akufo-Addo-led NPP government from growing the agricultural sector and making it more modern, more efficient and therefore, more productive.

Access to finance, improved training and technology, reducing post-harvest losses, extending feeder roads and farm tracts to as many farm gates as possible, increasing irrigation facilities, and guaranteeing markets for our farm produce are going to be the nucleus of this approach.

All these would be implemented in close collaboration between the District Assemblies and the field staff of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Farmers should have a cause to look forward to tomorrow with belief and joy!

I congratulate all award winners in this year’s National Best Farmers’ Day Awards and I hope that your exploits and achievements would be an inspiration for others to the benefit of the Ghanaian people.

God bless our farmers and fisherfolk.

God bless Ghana.

Nana Akufo-Addo

Below is NPP’s 2015 Farmer’s Day message

On the occasion of the 2015 Farmers’ Day celebrations, I join many other Ghanaians in expressing our sincere appreciation to our farmers and fisherfolk for their hard work and commitment to the cause of building Mother Ghana over the years.

With modernisation and diversification of agriculture being a key component of the NPP’s 4-Point Agenda for the development of Ghana, I wish to assure our farmers and fisherfolk that the blessing of oil will not distract an Akufo-Addo-led NPP government from making the agricultural sector more sophisticated, more productive and more efficient. Mrs. Akufo-Addo ‘Shocks’ Manhyia With Unprecedented Gifts

Traditional leaders at the Manhyia Palace could not hide their excitement on Thursday after they were showered with what has been described as the most unprecedented gift to the Palace by the wife of the NPP Presidential Candidate, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo glittered the Palace with gifts ranging from clothes, expensive foreign wine, food items and a fat sheep when she and her entourage paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Thursday.

Carried by over 22 beautiful young ladies, Mrs. Akufo-Addo did not only spoil Chiefs and elders of the Asanteman Council, but also ensured that every division under the Kingdom had something to laugh about as custom and tradition demand.

The applause and cheers from the elders when the Chief Linguist of the King, Baffour Kantankrankyie asked Nananom to cheer on the entourage, were enough attestation of their approval of their gifts.

Some of the royals openly confessed that in their lifetime, they have never seen such a gift in the Palace before.

However, the rationale behind the beautiful gift, according to the NPP Planning Committee, was for Mrs. Akufo-Addo to show appreciation and recognition for the traditional leadership in the Asante Kingdom.

The Committee Members include Mrs. Adjei Barwuah, wife of former Ambassador to Japan, Dr. Adjei Barwuah, Mad. Ama Dokuaah, an entrepreneur and owner of Beauty Queen Hotel as well as Andy Owusu, Special Aide to the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as ‘Chairman Wontumi’.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo is in the Ashanti Region for a five day tour to some selected constituencies.

She would be interacting with Queenmothers to brief them on her husband’s vision and programmes for the country and to court their support ahead of the elections.

Ghana Votes On Sept 7? Alleged ‘Slip’ By Akufo-Addo Sets Social Media Buzzing

A charge on residents of the Volta Region of Ghana to vote for the opposition NPP on ‘September 7’ has set social media ablaze.

Flagbearer of the NPP Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is alleged to have called on the people of the Volta Region to vote massively for the party on September 7.

It’s unclear which part of the Region the NPP flagbearer was speaking.

Nana Akufo-Addo is on a five-day tour of the Volta Region, the stronghold of the governing National Democratic Congress with less than two months to the general elections.
